Hello. Yesterday was Bethanne's first birthday. We went out to eat at Quaker Steak and Lube (great wings), looked at some houses, let her unwrap the presents from us and took a fruit basket to the Dr. who delivered her. She was such a happy little girl. I can't believe it has been a year! Image Her parties will be on Oct. 1st and I am busy working on her cakes today. I am making two carrott sheet cakes with butter cream icing and then will draw some fishes on the cakes. I will try to get pictures and post them when I can.

I have also started a business website, please visit it at

Our house is officially on the market and we can't wait to move Image

Have a nice day and God bless

Bethanne's weight check went well and is now back where she needs to be. The ped who checked her out though misdiagnosed her ears so we went to an ENT who said her ears were fine. We were so scared that she had been deaf all this time and we were made to worry needlessly Image We like the ped practice but will have it noted on both girls' charts that we will refuse to be seen by this one dr. This is the second time he has misdiagnosed Bethanne's ears. Image

I am working on selling some of the cards I have been learning to make Image If you would refer to my blog on dates Aug 27 and September 2 you will see some of the cards. I will repost them here again too for conveinance. I will be selling them for $3.00 per single card or $10.00 for a pack of four. The buyer will get to choose paper colors, template (Christmas, Easter, every day, new baby, etc), embellishments, stamps, and inks from what I have available.

God bless.

Tommorow is Bethanne's weight check. She has a cold and has been pulling at her ears again so I am going to have them check that again too. Bethanne is discovering she can walk and has taken some steps by herself but loves to push around her little fisher price walker thing. It is funny because if Hannah uses it she will get mad.

She only nursed twice today 😦 It is such a sad moment when a mom realizes her child no longer needs her full time for food basis. I also used the last bag of stored breastmilk. I started pumping once I came home from the hospital in 9/2004 so I got about 6 months of usage from the milk I stored. Very good. I am wondering if I should start pumping again and maybe see if I can get anymore. I really hope that I can get a few more weeks of nursing out of her but I am starting to think it won't happen. I have nursed for 26 months!!! (total Image)

Well I am signing off now. I have some work to do on my cross stitch and big girl is asleep so I should go put her into her bed.

God bless.

Hello and Good morning to all. I went to a LLL Breastfeeding Walk yesterday and it was a lot of fun. Hannah enjoyed playing on the play equipment they had and even took over directing the other children in what they shouldn't be doing Image They had a huge raffle and also a silent auction. My mom and I had fun with both. We won a Dora gift pack for Hannah, it had a metal Dora purse, a Dora trash can, chalk, markers, crayons and a bubble blower set. I won a Mei Tai Carrier in the silent auction, and it is beautiful with tan colored cloth and a sunflower motif on the back. Visit or for more info and pics on the Mei Tai carrier. I have already tried it with Hannah and I can carry her in it. It seems to be much easier on my back than my sling I have used with both of the girls. Bethanne will take some getting used to it but I think she will come to like it. My mom won a gift basket full of bath and body supplies hand made which I am sure was more than the $1 raffle ticket that won it for her Image Also for those of you who know I am now a cloth diaper fan visit My mom is thinking of getting Bethanne some more covers from here for her birthday since she is out growing her other ones. She has a nice selection. It was hot out yesterday and we didn't actually go on the walk. They had pizza and tons of drinks for us. I also got some info from a local dr regarding flouride (which isn't as good as our peds would have us believe Image) and on vaccines (this dr apparently realizes that vaccines are indeed made with aborted babies and doesn't feel a need for children to get all of the vaccines that are out today) let me know if you would like more info and I would be willing to send a copy of the papers that I got concerning this. Overall it was a good day and we enjoyed ourselves. Today I think we may try to get to the Raspberry Festival in Urbana, it is a yearly and free event. Well I think that is all for now.

God bless you and yours.

I am posting yet another card, this is one I have made for my inlaws anniversary. Hannah is still in panties and doing so good. I am finishing up the Bells of Lowell series by Tracie Peterson and Judith Miller and will be starting the Lights of Lowell series by the same authors. Very good books and I recommend them. Please continue to pray for the victims in Louisianna and Mississippi. I know the news is focusing on Louisianna but we also need to remember that MS was also hit hard and many there are without food, clothes, and eletricity. Update: for some reason the link no longer works and I have no idea where this card is stored so it is no longer viewable.

God bless
