Persecution **edited for Scripture and a song**

Hello.

Please pray a prayer of protection around me.  I recieved some nasty comments from a woman named Sarah that I apparently upset because I was teaching the Truth and this board did not like that I was talking about God much less being a Christian.  Long story short many unbelievers jumped all over me for being a homeschooler, QF, headcovering, dresses only etc.  I am leaving her comments on my cbox so that we can be aware that the enemy is always attacking.  I am deeply grieved though that someone would want the state for forcibly sterilize me and take my children away.  I am proud to stand for my Saviour the One and Only Light of the world.

Here are some Scripture that will lift up those who are suffering any form of persecution and I will be committing these to memory as well for the time when Spiritual warfare is going on:

2 Timothy 3:12-17 KJV "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse, deceiving, and being deceived.  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thoug has known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."

Acts 13:50 KJV "But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts."   I included this Scripture because we all know that even with severe persecution and threat of death Paul and Barnabas still went forth and preached the Gospel and were filled with the Holy Spirit.  Acts 13:52 KJV

Psalm 31:15 KJV  "My times are in thy hand; deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecuteth me."

Luke 11:49-52 KJV   "Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute; that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; from the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.  Woe unto you lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowlegdge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered."

I know there are so many more Scriptures to include but these were the ones that spoke to my heart. My dear friend and Sister in Christ also listed these verses which are excellent (what else could the Bible possibly be but excellent?)  Luke 6:28,35 and 36

Dear Heavenly Father,

I offer up praise to you that you allowed me to post Christian responses to some women on another place that were unbelievers and trying to bring me down.  Thank you for giving me the Spirit to respond kindly and knowledgably to these people who were attacking me with Satan’s power.  Give me a hedge of protection as I continue to be berated by these woman and even though curses hold no power give me a hedge of protection as I know You will from this woman Sarah who has so spoke out against me and threatened me with curses.  Also give my friends and fellow Sisters protection as I don’t know what the enemy will set out to do next.  Lead us Lord for you are our Master and our Saviour in You I will follow.  In Jesus’ name…..

Amen.

I found this song by ZOEgirl called Dead Serious on the album Room to Breathe

Who’s that girl with the Bible in her hands / The smile on her face, she doesn’t get it, I don’t understand / The way she walks with her head in the clouds / She doesn’t care who laughs, walks right through the crowd // That’s righ, that’s me, I don’t care what you think / People talk all day, I don’t care what they say // You think I’m delirious, a typical reaction / Aren’t you curious about my satisfaction / Maybe you’re envious, a little curious / You can laugh, but I’m dead serious // Watch he as she goes, there’s something different and she knows it / Ask her why and she’ll flash that silly smile / She says she’s go a purpose and she’s done with all the games / Jesus saved her sould and she’ll never be the same // That’s right that’s me, I don’t care what you think / You can talk all day, I don’t care what you say // Eternity won’t wait for me / I’ve made my choice, it’s where I want to be / All I want to be see is the light of God shining in me / I may be young, but I am free / You can’t change what I believe // That’s right, that’s me, I don’t care what you think / You can talk all day, I’m okay anyway // Serious, I’m Serious / You can laugh but I’m dead serious.

You can go to their website at: http://www.zoegirlonline.com/  on the left side is a banner that you can click on the album if you want to here the music and lyrics together.  It is the green album with three women on the front.  They are a Contemporary Christian band.

Please by all means feel free to leave any prayers for protection and also for these souls of unbelievers.  If you don’t want to post so your blog will open to attack, email or message me and I will post the prayers without your info.

God bless.

Overpopulation? I don't think so…..

Here is a link for those of us who are quiverfull or just Christian and our viewpoints on children are that they are blessings from God.  I found this interesting and it would prove even more interesting to see who owns this website that provides this "quiz".  I am assuming a liberal who agrees with the global warming that Al Gore and so many Hollywood stars and starlets are warning us about.

Here is the link:  http://www.earthday.net/footprint/index.asp#

Here are my results:

  CATEGORY ACRES
FOOD 6.2
MOBILITY 0.7
SHELTER 2.2
GOODS/SERVICES 2.7
TOTAL FOOTPRINT 12

IN COMPARISON, THE AVERAGE ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT IN YOUR COUNTRY IS 24 ACRES PER PERSON.

WORLDWIDE, THERE EXIST 4.5 BIOLOGICALLY PRODUCTIVE ACRES PER PERSON.

IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 2.7 PLANETS.

Just for fun, I would like to know what my visitors results are 🙂  Please,  leave a comment.

God bless.

AWANA Award Night 5/23/2007

We had the end of the AWANA year last night.  We had a wonderful potluck dinner.  I suppled pulled BarBQ pork which was a big hit.  Hannah, and two other Cubbies recieved their Year One book award which is a tiny stuffed Cubby Bear that goes on their vest as well as a medal for completeing their books.  Hannah and her friend accomplished quite a bit with them having started AWANAS late in the year.  Here is a picture of the three of them recieving their bear and medals. My middle daughter just had to be in on the action.

Here is the whole Cubby class with their teachers Eric and Tammy, this is the part where they recieved their patches for Bible memory and attendance.

Here is Hannah recieving her Cubby of the Quarter Award, a new Bible that is written in simple words that after working on site words she should be able to read on her own:

Here is Hannah recieving the Cubby of the Year award; a trophy and a magnet:

This is just a cute one of Bethanne hugging the girl’s friend, Dean:

It was a great evening full or food and friendship.  Next year Hannah, Dean and Sohpie will all be AWANA Sparks!!!

Congratulations to the Cubby Class of 2007!!!!!!

Here are some black and white photos I took of Christian crawling in his diaper.  I love baby rolls.

Prayer please.

Hello.

While I know it is all in God’s hands I am asking for prayer that He will wait to bless us until our house is back on the market and looks like it will sell.  It could be in the near future that we may be expecting again  (I AM NOT expecting yet)  but we really need a bigger house before that happens.  Please pray that it’s the Lord’s will for our house to sell quickly or some other avenue of being able to move and that it will happen before the Lord blesses my womb again with another little one.  Bethanne just told me recently that she wants a baby for Christmas I told her her timing was off  well then she said she wanted a baby for her birthday, well I had to tell her again that her timing was way off .   It is nice that she is liking the idea of another baby, even Hannah has said it would be nice.  Bethanne has also told me she wants to be a mommy like me   Love it.

Well that is it, please pray for us if you think about it.

God bless.

God bless

I was blessed by a bargain.

My friend called me yesterday to tell me a lady she knows through a homeschooling group was selling Volume 1, Day by Day and Wisdom Words by Weaver. She wasn’t sure how much she was asking for it but she gave me the number and I called this lady. She is so sweet, but I asked her how much she was willing to sell it for and she asked me if $20.00 was too much? I told her no and asked if she was sure and she said yes $20 for the set!!!! I couldn’t believe it. It even came with a VHS tape about the Weaver. She doesn’t know how much she blessed me with this curriculum. We will be using it next school year so the 2008-2009 school year as right now I will be using the Interlock for the 2007-2008 school year for Hannah and hopefully Bethanne. I am just so happy and excited about this.

God bless.

Another interesting video w/Kirk Cameron

This is a video of Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort debating with two avoided atheists on the existance of our God.  **WARNING**  the young woman is scantily clad so beware of watching of this in front of children and both athiests become rude during Cameron’s and Comfort’s answers.  My husband and I stayed up until 1:30a.m. the other morning because Kirk and Ray made some great points and summed up how we believe, the athiest’s arguments are unfounded and at time do not flow coherently together.  We definitely need to be in prayer for them and their souls as they totally reject God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.  Here is the link to the video.

God bless.

Interesting video (homebirth)

I was made aware of this video.  There may be some content of the homebirth that some may not want to see but it is an awesome video and depicts just how great our God is.  The link is:  http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5892030206214460724&pr=goog-sl

Make sure to have some tissues as it will cause you to cry, if not in sorrow then of joy.

God bless.

My Grandpa

Hello.

This is by far one of the saddest entries I have had to make so far in my blogging time.  I recieved a phone call from my Dad on April 30th, 2007 telling me the he didn’t know how to tell me some news.  I almost did not answer the phone because I had some weird feeling that something wasn’t right at that moment, but I answered it anyway, it would have just put off the inevitable anyway.  I asked my Dad if it was about Grandpa and he said yes, my Uncle found him.  I said "oh, where is he?", my dad "no, Sarah, Uncle *** found him at home" , maybe it was me trying to not realize what my Dad was saying but again I said "Where is he?"  my Dad was like "Sarah, Uncle *** found him in his bed, he passed away".  Well that did it,  my daughters got upset because I was crying and screaming.  I hung up on my dad because I couldn’t talk, I called my husband who came home immediately from work and took the day off.  My Grandpa was a great man.  It will be hard without him here, especially for holidays.  The 4th of July will be hard as that is also his birthday, he would have been 83.  My brothers and I spent many a weekend with my Grandparents, we got to watch "rastlin", eat junk food, go out to breakfast and basically were very spoiled 🙂  I have wonderful and fond memories of him, pounding nails into boards and eventually pounding so hard the nails went into the concrete floor in the garage, but Grandpa never got mad or upset, just pulled them up and let me keep pounding.  He instilled in me a sense of pride of being an American, part of the reason why I joined the Navy.  He was like a second earthly dad to me and I loved him so much.  He is now with his dear wife, my Grandma who passed away three years ago and one day I pray that I will get to see him again.  Tomorrow is the visitation and service and his graveside service will be on Saturday following cremation.  He is going to be buried with full military honors.  I will try to get some pictures scanned in and make a picture tribute to him at some point.  Here is the link to the online obituary

May God bless you.
