Random 5 on Friday (um, Saturday)

on June 15, 2013

Joining in again with the Random 5 on Friday, late again, which is hosted at The Pebble Pond blog (go check it out!).

1.  This past week has been busy, busy, busy.  All three of my children took a College for Kid’s class through our local community college – these are great extra curricular classes.  Thankfully, my mom pays for them as they are a bit pricey, but all supplies are included.  My son took one called Science Quack in which they did some cool science experiments, my oldest took a glass mosaic class and my middle daughter took an acrylic painting class in which she did a great bison painting.  I’ll post pictures later, sorry.  The good thing is they were all in one location this year and we packed lunch so we didn’t have to waste time going home and rushing to eat.

2.  This coming week my son is taking his second class, my mom let them both chose two classes, which is making a mosaic picture out of natural products like wood, beans, etc.  My middle daughter took it last year and it was a lot of fun for her.

3.  I’m caught up on my reviews which will allow me to work on reviews that don’t really have any due dates but that I feel are late.  I’m happy with that.  I’ve been reading like crazy to get things caught up and also working on some books that I toured but haven’t reviewed yet.

4.  I’m allergic to eggs – or so I think.  When I eat them I get nauseous, abdominal cramping and even vomit.  Not pleasant.  Not sure what I’ll do as I’m going to get back into the THM diet/lifestyle and they use a lot of eggs and I can’t do applesauce as a substitute.

5.  We went to a thrift store yesterday and I found a copy of Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence by Sarah Young, Blessing Your Husband: Understanding and Affirming Your Man by Debra Evans, and a brand new Discovery Kids animal book for $0.29 a piece!

Well I think that is it, so after you finish mine please go visit The Pebble Pond and check out the other bloggers who are linking up as well.  **This post contains affiliate links, which means if you click on them and buy it I will get a little bit of money, disclosing this due to FTC regulations.**
