Trip to COSI, December 3rd

on December 20, 2010

**If you are reading this on any site other than Growing For Christ you are reading stolen material.

On December 3rd the children, my mom and I took a trip to COSI which is about a 50 minute drive from our house.  A good time was had by all.

My mom was the only one who was allowed to ride the high wire bike:

One of the special exhibits featured Clifford the Big Red Dog.  There were lots of hands-on activities and  while it was geared for younger children all three of mine really enjoyed it.

All three posed in the cutout snowman on the way out of COSI (next year’s Christmas card?):

There was another neat exhibit where you had to follow clues on your map, it looked like an archaeological dig.

We took in a science show that talked about how lights light up, and what chemicals you need for certain colors.  Hannah volunteered for part of it.  Click on the link to watch the side ways movie.

Bethanne got to volunteer during the weather show.  She got to demonstrate what happens as pressure builds inside of something.  Again click on the link to view the video.

The next picture is showing what happens to Christmas lights when viewed through prism glasses:
